European Union Traineeship Program 2024 | Fully Funded
The European Union Traineeship offers students a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience in EU policymaking through paid placements in its offices across Europe and Africa.
Are you a young graduate interested in international relations? Are you curious to learn more about work of a diplomatic mission and how the EU Delegation represents EU interests and values in the Republic of South Africa?
Description of the Program
The traineeship will be based in the Political, Press and Information (PPI) Section. It will contribute to the Delegation’s work on EU – South Africa relations in the respective thematic field.
The trainee will also work together with colleagues in the other Sections of the EU Delegation, as relevant and appropriate.
PPI also supports the Head of Delegation in his/her capacity as observer to ECOWAS, monitors regional developments and reports on related issues.
PPI assists the Head of Delegation in ensuring EU Coordination with Member States and in charge of coordination on political – including regional, consular, migration and security matters.
