The Youth in Development Fellowship, hosted by The IMPACT Toolbox, is a prestigious program designed to equip young leaders worldwide with the knowledge and skills necessary to drive sustainable development in their communities.
Supported by esteemed institutions such as the Rustandy Center for Social Innovation at Chicago Booth Business School, the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Chicago, and Appalachian State University in North Carolina, USA, the fellowship fosters a global network of innovative changemakers.
Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for the Youth in Development Fellowship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Age: 19 to 35 years old by the application deadline.
- Interest: Demonstrated passion for launching a social enterprise or pursuing a career in the social sector.
- Initiative: Possess a concrete idea or initiative aimed at driving social change.
- Residency: Open to individuals from any country worldwide.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Commitment: Availability to complete all fellowship activities.

Fellowship Benefits:

- Social Impact Strategy Course:

- Selected fellows enroll in two premium courses on social enterprise development, valued at $1,000.

- Certificates of completion are awarded for both courses.

- Venture Development Prize:
- Exceptional fellows have the opportunity to secure equity-free financial support ranging from $500 to $2,500.

Application Process:
The application process is designed to identify emerging social entrepreneurs who are resilient and committed to continuous learning. To apply, candidates must complete two components:
- Social Impact Strategy Course: Completion of this course is a prerequisite for the application.
- Application Form: Submission of the completed application form by the deadline.
The application deadline is January 31, 2025, at 8PM GMT.
The fellowship program will run from April to September 2025, offering practical workshops led by global experts, access to high-quality courses, opportunities to engage with a global network, and personalized mentorship and coaching sessions to help refine social ventures.
