We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Video Editor

Location: Abule Egba, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: N50,000 – N100,000 Monthly.

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editors to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing (most time recording) and assembling recorded raw material into a polished, engaging final product that aligns with our brand’s vision and objectives.
  • This role requires a strong eye for detail, creativity, and technical proficiency in video editing software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit raw footage into compelling video content suitable for various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and deliver videos that effectively communicate the intended message.
  • Add music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the overall quality and impact of the videos.
  • Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent style and tone.
  • Manage and organize video files, maintaining a well-organized archive of all projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, techniques, and tools to continually improve the quality of work.
  • Optimize video content for different platforms, ensuring the best possible quality and format for each use case.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of an OND (Ordinary National Diploma) in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in video editing.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
  • Ability to work with various video and audio formats and integrate graphics, animations, and effects.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a strong sense of visual storytelling.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a creative team.
  • Must reside within the Abule Egba, Lagos axis.
