Job Description
- As an UI / UX Designer (NYSC), you will be responsible for designing and enhancing the user experience and user interface of our digital products.
- You will work closely with softwaredevelopers team, to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that meet user needs and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with softwaredevelopers teamto define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance user experience.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Develop high-fidelity mockups and prototypes for web and mobile applications.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in the NYSC program.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven UI / UX design experience with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
