Job Summary:
Join our innovative IT startup as a versatile UI/UX Designer / Graphic Designer who will also serve as a Product Manager and a Course Instructor.
You will be responsible for leading the design and development of user-centric products, while also sharing your expertise and knowledge with aspiring designers through our training programs.
Responsibilities:
As a UI/UX Designer / Graphic Designer:
- Lead the design and development of user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring an intuitive and engaging user experience
- Create visually stunning and cohesive designs that align with our brand identity and user needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, user flows, and wireframes
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to gather insights and validate design decisions
- Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and design specifications for development teams
- Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements and maintain design consistency throughout the product lifecycle
- Define and implement design systems, style guides, and best practices to streamline the design process and maintain brand identity
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in UI/UX design, graphic design, and visual communication principles
As a Product Manager:
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on market and user research, customer feedback, and business goals
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure successful product delivery and go-to-market strategy
- Monitor and analyze key product metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and development teams, providing clear communication and alignment on product priorities and goals
- Lead agile product development processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management
- Continuously iterate and improve product features and user experiences based on data-driven insights and feedback
As a Course Instructor:
- Develop and deliver high-quality training materials and curriculum for UI/UX design courses with a focus on graphic design principles
- Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles and skill levels
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to course participants, helping them build practical skills and achieve their learning objectives
- Cover a range of topics including graphic design fundamentals, typography, color theory, and visual communication principles
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in graphic design, UI/UX design, and visual communication, sharing relevant insights and knowledge with course participants
- Collaborate with the curriculum development team to continuously improve and update course content based on industry trends and learner feedback
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, Graphic Designer, Product Manager, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of design and product management projects
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, Figma, or InVision
- Experience with user research methods, usability testing, and A/B testing
- Strong graphic design skills with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and attention to detail
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field
Preferred:
- Experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Active participation in the design community, such as attending conferences or contributing to design forums and communities
