The Amina Project: Empowering Women through Tech Skills and Employment

We are pleased to introduce The Amina Project: Empowering Women through Tech Skills and Employment, a ground-breaking Women-Centered Tech Skills Acquisition & Job Placement Initiative created by TALENTCODEAFRICA to empower financially disadvantaged women and teenage girls through tech skills training, internships, and job placements.

Inspired by Queen Amina, a legendary Nigerian figure known for her bravery, leadership, and female independence.

The Amina Project, which aligns with our corporate goal of empowering and positioning over 10 million African tech skills talents by 2030, is committed to closing the gender gap in the African tech sector by providing comprehensive tech skills training to 2000 financially disadvantaged women and teenage girls.

Phase 1: Technology Training

During Phase 1, the focus will be on providing training to 2000 financially disadvantaged women and teenage girls with low to middle income.

The training will last for three months and will cover various high-demand tech skills such as web development, mobile app development, cloud computing, data science and analytics, product management, product design, robotics, and cybersecurity.
