Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Video Editor who is passionate about storytelling and has a keen eye for detail. As part of our creative team, you will edit and enhance video content that aligns with Contra’s mission and vision.
This is a remote role, providing flexibility to manage your schedule while delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and Assemble Raw Footage: Transform raw video clips into polished, high-quality videos that reflect Contra’s brand and messaging.
- Collaborate with the Creative Team: Work closely with designers and marketing to ensure all videos align with the brand’s visual and strategic direction.
- Enhance Visual and Auditory Quality: Utilize color correction, sound design, and transitions to create engaging, visually appealing videos.
- Meet Project Deadlines: Efficiently manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery without compromising on quality.
- Incorporate Feedback: Revise video edits based on feedback from stakeholders to meet project expectations.
- Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Continuously improve video editing skills by staying informed about the latest tools, techniques, and trends.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality video content.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Experience with color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and brand consistency.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends in video production and editing techniques.
