About the Role
- We’re seeking a UI/UX Designer to join our small, passionate team of researchers and engineers.
- This is a full-time, remote position with occasional in-person meetings.
- As our designer, you’ll work closely with the founding team to iterate on our existing design, improve user experience, and drive conversion rates.
- You’ll play a crucial role in shaping our product and making accurate healthcare information more accessible and affordable.

Responsibilities
- Design and optimize user journeys across our platform using Figma.
- Collaborate with the founder to gather requirements and implement designs.
- Conduct user research, including concept and usability testing.
- Create and manage product component libraries and technical guidelines.
- Occasionally support marketing efforts with design assets for various channels.
Immediate Projects
- Pillser health card: Personalized recommendations based on user profiles.
- Supplement diary: Logging and tracking supplement intake and health goals (new product)
- Pillser stack exchange: User-shared supplement stacks with reward system (new product)
Requirements
Must-Have:
- 2-3 years of UI/UX design experience.
- Proven experience designing e-commerce websites.
- Proficiency in Figma for prototyping and design.
- Strong understanding of design systems
- Experience collaborating with React developers.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in healthcare or nutrition-related projects
- Familiarity with AI and its ethical implications in healthcare
- Basic understanding of front-end development.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $90K – $130K (based on experience)
- Equity: 1% – 2% (4-year vesting schedule with a 1-year cliff)
