Social Media Manager at LearnlyApp Role Description 

  • LearnlyApp is looking for a committed, creative and experienced Social Media Manager with video editing skills.
  • This role requires someone who can develop engaging social media strategies and edit high-quality video content that resonates with our target audience.
  • The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media trends, have a keen eye for detail, and possess strong video editing skills.

Key Responsibilities of the Remote Social Media Manager at LearnlyApp

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), ensuring alignment with the brand’s voice and identity.
  • Create, schedule, and manage social media posts, and monitor channels for engagement opportunities, responding to comments and messages promptly.
  • Analyze and report on social media performance using analytics tools, adjusting strategies to improve engagement, reach, and overall effectiveness.
  • Produce and edit video content for social media, including promotional videos, product demos, customer testimonials, and other engaging content that aligns with brand goals.
  • Work with raw footage, apply special effects, and ensure high-quality sound and visuals, while managing video projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns, brainstorm content ideas, and execute them effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, video editing software, and industry best practices to keep the brand’s content fresh, innovative, and competitive.
  • May involve occasional travel for content creation and other related activities (if applicable).

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Film/Video Production, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager and/or Video Editor.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar.
  • Strong video editing skills with experience using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling through social media and video.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
  • Knowledge of SEO and social media algorithms.
  • Experience in paid social media advertising.
