- Tobams Group is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our creative team.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Adobe InDesign, specifically in book and magazine design for Amazon and print.
Key Responsibilities of the Remote Graphics Designer at Tobams Group
- Design high-quality books and magazines for Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) and print-on-demand.
- Create visually appealing layouts, typography, and graphics.
- Collaborate with authors, editors, and project managers to ensure design aligns with content.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines for consistent design across publications.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
- Ensure designs are optimized for digital and print formats.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, Adobe software, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in graphic design, specializing in Adobe InDesign.
- Portfolio showcasing book and magazine design expertise.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with Amazon KDP guidelines and print-on-demand requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other Adobe tools
- Knowledge of digital publishing formats (ePUB, MOBI).
- Familiarity with print production processes.
