The Milken-Penn GSE Education Business Plan Competition (EBPC) 2025 is now accepting applications.
The Milken-Penn GSE Education Business Plan Competition, widely regarded as the most renowned and well-funded of its type, recognizes and nurtures purpose-driven ventures that use innovation to solve educational disparities.
Since 2010, the Milken-Penn GSE Education Business Plan Competition has provided over $2 million in funding and support to education companies that are making a difference via innovation.
The Milken-Penn GSE EBPC recognizes and supports purpose-driven initiatives that strive to solve systematic disparities in education through innovation.
They share an urgency with education entrepreneurs to transform global education systems to create boundless opportunities and equitable outcomes for all learners, particularly those who have been marginalized and underserved by society.
Through their ecosystem of entrepreneurs, judges, mentors, and sponsors, they seek to elevate diverse voices and empower changemakers to design and scale impactful solutions that address the most persistent and emerging issues across the education landscape.

- Second place award: $25,000
- Third place award: $10,000
- Audience Choice prize: $5,000
Eligibility
- Open to applicants worldwide advancing teaching and learning through innovation.
- A business plan based upon an idea or concept that has been previously published is eligible, provided the Applicant discloses the previous publication(s).
- All entries must be submitted in the English language.

The 2025 application is now open. Application closes February 19, 2025.
