Website Developer

  • Are you passionate about empowering African women and girls?

  • Inspire Her Afrika is looking for a skilled Website Developer to join our team and help bring our vision to life online!
  • We are seeking a dedicated Website Developer who can help us design, develop, and maintain our websites to reflect the mission and work of Inspire Her Afrika.
  • Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and ensuring we can reach, inspire, and empower more women across Africa.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop user-friendly, responsive websites for Inspire Her Afrika.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to ensure the website aligns with our brand, goals, and messaging.
  • Implement features such as event pages, blogs, multimedia content, and donation platforms.
  • Regularly update and maintain the website to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure the site is always up and running.
  • Analyze web traffic and improve user engagement.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year experience.
  • Proven experience in web development (front-end and back-end skills).
  • Proficiency in web development tools (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, or other CMS).
  • Experience with UI/UX design and mobile optimization.
  • Strong understanding of website architecture, security, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for women’s empowerment and development is a plus.

Administrative Officer (Volunteer)

Administrative Duties:

  • primarily handles administrative tasks related to the mentorship program. This includes managing program logistics, scheduling meetings, and organizing events.

Coordination and Support:

  • often acts as a central point of contact and support within the organization.
  • Facilitate internal communication, assist with scheduling, and ensure the smooth flow of administrative processes.

External Liaison:

  • may interact with external stakeholders, external communication is limited to coordinating meetings and events and responding to inquiries.

Record Keeping:

  • maintain records of program activities, attendance, and communication.
  • Ensure that program documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Event Coordination:

  • responsible for planning and organizing mentorship-related events, workshops, and meetings.

Communications Manager

  • We are seeking a skilled Communications Manager to guide our communications team, manage internal and external communications, and engage with our audience.
  • You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of our communications strategy and effectively representing our mission across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support: Manage daily operations and workflows within the communications team to ensure an efficient and cohesive approach.
  • Internal and external communications: Oversee social media engagement, including responding to comments and direct messages (DMs), and manage newsletters and blog content.
  • Social media performance: Prepare and deliver monthly reports on the performance of all social media platforms.
  • Post scheduling: Ensure posts are consistently scheduled and published across all platforms to maintain an active and engaging online presence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in communications, social media management, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
