Position Summary

Her Campus Media is looking for a Social Media & Content Creation Intern for Spring 2025.

This role will primarily focus on creating engaging video content for our social media channels, including TikTok and Instagram Reels, for brands like Her Campus, College Fashionista, and Spoon University.

The intern will be one of the “faces” of these brands, responsible for producing multiple videos each week, researching social trends, and brainstorming creative ways to engage with our audience.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation: Develop multiple videos per week for TikTok and Instagram Reels, representing the Her Campus, College Fashionista, and Spoon University brands.
Social Media Engagement: Monitor and engage with community members across platforms.
Trend Research: Stay up to date on the latest social media trends, memes, and viral content to tailor posts for our audience.
Copywriting: Write catchy, engaging captions for social media posts.
Content Strategy: Brainstorm new content ideas and help adapt popular trends to suit our audience.

Qualifications

Current College Undergraduate: Must be actively pursuing a degree.
Social Media Expertise: A strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram from both user and creator perspectives.
Video Editing Skills: Proficiency in video editing and comfort being on camera.
Creative & Detail-Oriented: Passion for content creation, social media, and the Her Campus mission.
Strong Communication & Organization: Ability to manage tasks efficiently and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in Lifestyle & Pop Culture: Passion for topics like style, beauty, career, and lifestyle.
