Apply now for the 2024 Landscape Leadership Camp, a transformative journey for young visionaries across the continent.
The Global Landscapes Forum and Youth in Landscapes Initiative (YIL) will co-design a camp in Nairobi, Kenya, leading up to the GLF Africa 2024 Hybrid Conference.
This immersive experience will bring together like-minded students, young professionals, experts, and community-minded individuals from all over Africa, forming a vibrant, cross-cultural community dedicated to driving meaningful and transformative change.
Requirements
If you are:
- Between the ages of 18 and 35;
- A citizen of an African country;
- And passionate about thriving communities and landscapes
Then, the 2024 Landscape Leadership Camp is for you!
Funding
- GLF will offer a limited number of full and partial travel scholarships to cover some participants’ travel, accommodation, and associated attendance costs to and from Nairobi.
- Considering each person’s application, GLF will award scholarships based on need and merit.
- The remaining selected participants are expected to raise their funds to attend, though the team will be available to assist with fundraising wherever possible.
How to Apply:
- To apply, please fill out the application form by Sunday 16 June.
- The application will take about five to ten minutes to complete.
- You will need to submit a one-minute video answering the question: How can we achieve climate justice for Africa’s communities, landscapes and seascapes?
- Please note that all applicants will receive an automatic application confirmation email, but only shortlisted candidates will be contacted beyond that.
