The Applications are open to apply for the Fiction Writers Program 2025.
The Fiction Writers Program invites writers, professionals, and students from all around the world to Participate in a week-long program at the Costa Navarino, Messinia, Greece.
During the Program, fellows will engage in workshops, and craft sessions and will meet with other leading writers of the industry.
There is no application fee and the Oxbelly covers all the costs of the Participants including Travel and Accommodation in Greece.
The objective of this writing program is to support exceptional narratives in all genres. Writers can select any subject or topic, but it should be original.

Eligibility Requirements for the 2025 Fiction Writers Program
- Open to Greek and international applicants.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Originality: Submitted work must be the applicant’s original, unpublished creation.
- Prior Publication Restriction: Submitted work should not have been previously published online, in print, or in any other format.
- Emerging writers of novels or short stories, including unpublished writers and students, can apply.
- Applicants can submit any kind of story in any subject.
You may submit any type of fictional prose, such as short stories or novel manuscripts. Poetry, lyrics, screenplays, or theatrical plays are not accepted.
