Nigerian Customs Service Recruitment 2025 

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) on Friday opened applications for recruitment of officers into various positions in its Superintendent, Inspector, and Customs Assistant cadres.

This follows a recent announcement by the NCS that it had secured approval to recruit 3,927 officers in 2025, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance trade facilitation and support the nation’s economic recovery.

Application is open for graduate, national diploma, and school certificate holder.

Superintendent Cadre (Graduate):

  • Required Qualification: BSC/HND/BA
  • Category: Graduate Trainee
  • Location: All State | Nigeria

Job Requirment:

  • Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
  • Must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
  • Must not have any criminal record or be under investigation.

Academic Requirements

Superintendent Cadre:

  • University degree or HND (Higher National Diploma)
  • NYSC discharge Certificate

Medical Requirements

  • Evidence of medical fitness from a recognized government hospital.
  • Must be physically and mentally fit.

Inspectorate Cadre (Diploma):

  • Required Qualification: OND – NCE
  • Category: National Diploma
  • Location: All State | Nigeria

Job Requirement:

  • Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
  • Must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
  • Must not have any criminal record or be under investigation.

Academic Requirements

  • Inspectorate Cadre:
  • National Diploma (ND) or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) from any Approved Institution.

Medical Requirements

  • Must be physically and mentally fit.
  • Evidence of medical fitness from a recognized government hospital.

Customs Assistant Cadre (SSCE):

  • Required Qualification: SSCE
  • Category: Secondar School
  • Location: All State | Nigeria

Job Requirement:

  • Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
  • Must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
  • Must not have any criminal record or be under investigation.

Academic Requirements

Customs Assistant Cadre:

  • O’Level (WAEC or NECO)

Medical Requirements

  • Must be physically and mentally fit.
  • Evidence of medical fitness from a recognized government hospital.

How to Apply for Nigerian Customs Service Recruitment:

All applications must be submitted online. Suitably qualified candidates should log on to the Nigeria Customs Service Recruitment Portal

  • Applicants must ensure they possess the BLUEPRONT
  • Required qualifications for the position being applied for.
  • Multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for further screening.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • Applicants must be Nigeran by birth.
  • Applicants must have completed their primary x education and obtained a First School Leaving Certificate.
  • Applicants must not be less than 1.7 meters till for males and 1.64 meters for females.
  • Medical fitness is required, and applicants naist not be physically or mentally challenged.
  • Applicants must not have been convicted of y criminal offense.
  • Applicants must not be members of any secret society. cult, or drug addicts.
  • Applicants must present a certificate of state/ LGA of origin.

NOTICE:

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be entertained for the next phase of the process.
  • Candidates are strictly prohibited from submiting any falsedocument.
  • Falsification of any document will result in immediate disqualification and may lead to prosecution.
  • Applications will last for one week (from 27th December 2024 to 2nd January 2025).
