2025 IST Summer Internship in Austria (Fully Funded)
Applications are open to apply for the IST Summer Internship 2025 in Austria. The ISTA Summer Fellowship 2025 is taking place at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA).
Each year, the University invites fellows from all over the world to work on research projects with the IST Faculties for a period of 2 to 3 months. There is no application fee and IELTS is also not required.
The Isternship Summer Fellowship is open to the Enrolled Bachelor, and Master’s students as well as Graduates with Bachelor’s or Master’s Degrees from all academic backgrounds who are eligible to apply. The Internship will start between May to September 2025. (Exact dates will be decided later).
Areas of Research
Selected interns will collaborate with host professors to choose a research project within their field of interest.
ISTA offers opportunities in various disciplines, including biology, computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, neuroscience, chemistry, materials science, and interdisciplinary areas.

2025 IST Summer Internship Requirements
- The IST Summer Internship is open to all the Nationals.
- Applicants must be enrolled in a Bachelor or Masters Program.
- Current students and recent graduates with bachelor’s or master’s degrees in natural sciences, mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, or related interdisciplinary fields.
- The candidate must be proficient in English.
- IELTS/TOEFL is not required.
