Job Title: Website and Graphics Designer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: N160,000 / month.

Job Description

Join our dynamic startup team as a Website and Graphics Designer, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity through innovative design solutions.
You will collaborate closely with our marketing, product, and development teams to create compelling visual experiences that resonate with our target audience.

Responsibilities

Design and develop custom WordPress websites from concept to completion, ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.
Customize and configure WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements and maintain brand consistency.
Create high-quality graphics, including logos, icons, banners, and marketing materials, that align with our brand guidelines.
Collaborate with our development team to implement front-end designs, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on designs for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
Proven experience as a Website and Graphics Designer with proficiency in WordPress.
Strong knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and customization.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Corel Draw, Canva,Illustrator, etc.) and other relevant design tools.
Solid understanding of responsive design principles and front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced startup environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with SEO principles and best practices.
Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and usability testing methodologies.
