Job Title: 2D / 3D Animator / Graphics Designer (Remote)

Overview

- We are seeking a creative and skilled animator who can develop engaging and educational content to support our mission. Working with us will challenge and excite you, offering the opportunity to impact communities significantly.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Content Development:
- Develop characters, props, and backgrounds for animated content.
- Animate educational and promotional content to support Solardero’s mission.
Team Collaboration:
- Share animation skills and provide training to team members as needed.
- Advise on screenwriting, voice recording, graphic design, and marketing.
Flexible Role:
- Contribute to various tasks as required in a small, dynamic team environment.
- Be ready to wear many hats and adapt to different responsibilities.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Language: Fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
- Technical Skills: Competent in 2D animation software (e.g., After Effects, Toon Boom etc).
- Experience: More than 1 year of experience in 2D animation, preferably using Adobe After Effects.
- Portfolio: Must have an animation portfolio.
- Storytelling: Ability to comprehend and translate mathematical and scientific concepts into visual animations.
- Time Management: Excellent time management skills.
- Attitude: A can-do attitude with a readiness to learn on the job and create innovative educational content.
- Passion: A passion for Solardero’s vision of using media to transform education in Nigeria.
- Communication: Good communicator who asks questions when needed and provides clear feedback.
- Integrity: Honest, trustworthy, transparent, and conscientious.
