2025 Aspire Leaders Program by Harvard University for International Students
The Aspire Leaders Program welcomes low-income, first-generation college students and recent graduates around the world to participate in a free online immersive leadership journey including professional skills training, an exclusive course designed and delivered by Harvard faculty, and interactive seminars led by world-class educators.
After completion, Aspire Institute empowers alumni to continue their leadership development through seed funds, workshops, and a vibrant global network of peers and mentors.
Aspire Institute’s mission is to transform the lives of young adults worldwide who are currently underserved through a fully funded leadership development program that catalyzes our leaders of tomorrow to make a positive impact in their communities.

Eligibility Criterias for the 2025 Aspire Leaders Program by Harvard University
- This Harvard University Aspire Emerging Leaders Program is for students who are from backgrounds of social and financial adversity.
All applicants must meet the following criterias:
- 18-26 years old
- Low-income background
- First-generation to attend university (parent(s) and/or primary caregiver(s) did not complete a bachelor’s level degree)
- Enrolled in an undergraduate program or recently graduated (within three years)
OR - Education impacted by a natural disaster and/or armed conflict (i.e. refugees or displaced persons)
Perks in partaking in the 2025 Aspire Leaders Program by Harvard University
- Participants will gain exposure to a variety of experiences, such as a self-paced and live seminars and courses led by world-class faculty, case-study discussion groups, and mentorship and grant opportunities.
- This extensive, multidisciplinary curriculum has been curated by Harvard faculty.
- Most uniquely, alumni current Leaders-in-Training will connect with a diverse, hard-working, and talented group of future leaders spanning continents and intellectual curiosities.
